How to Set Up MB Way
What is it?
It is an app that allows you to pay for purchases, transfer money and carry out various other transactions using only your mobile phone.

MB WAY is a more convenient, contactless way of managing your money. It allows you to make payments, transfer funds, and withdraw cash instantly using just your smartphone, without the need for a physical card. This makes it a fast, secure, and efficient option for everyday transactions.

Step-by-Step guide
- Download the app MB WAY, through Play Store, App Store or Huawei AppGallery.
- On the app MB WAY, select the option “Ainda não tem MB WAY/ Don’t have MB WAY yet", enter your Multibanco card details, and set your 6-digit PIN.
- Enter the activation code you received via SMS and enter your email. Then, check your email, verify the code received, and enter it in the MB WAY app.

- Do not click on links that appear to be from MBWAY nor enter your login details. If it's not directly from the app, you should ignore it.
- Scammers can contact you or send sms appearing to be MBWAY. Usually, MBWAY never calls and never asks for personal details such as PIN or passwords. Please do not give any information over the phone or through sms. Only through the app.
- Please use strong passwords or fingerprints to prevent unauthorized access.
- Scammers may trick you into sending money to their accounts by posing as trusted individuals or companies. Do not, in any circumstance, send money to people you don’t know. Always verify the identity of the person you’re sending money to. If something feels suspicious, trust your instincts and refrain from making the transaction.
