Subsidies provided by Social Security are benefits aimed to help people in diverse situations, providing a certain type of income to each case when the person does not have enough means to sustain themselves or the family. It ranges from pregnancy assistance to child and youth care costs, to reconciling family life with work and support structures for the elderly, individuals and families. Please keep in mind that only people who are enrolled in Segurança Social and have a Cartao de Cidadão or Temporary Residency Card have access to the subsidies.
